Shopify toy store that went viral with Baby Shark
A Shopify store for children's toys, no longer live. The store went viral after stocking the Baby Shark stuffed animal — the plush toy that sang the famous song when pressed.
Knuffeltjeswinkel was a Shopify store selling stuffed animals and toys for children.
The store got its moment when we stocked the Baby Shark plush toy — the stuffed animal that played the Baby Shark song when you pressed it. At the peak of the Baby Shark craze, the product went viral and drove a significant spike in traffic and orders.
The theme was custom-built in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid. The design was playful and child-friendly while still being easy for parents to navigate, with clear category structure, age guidance on products, and a straightforward checkout.
Responsive design and SEO were given the same treatment as the other stores in the Oh My Brand family.
